Steve Condurelis

It’s all about you actually. It’s all about the possibility of your new career in residential real estate. You are likely on this site because you are in the early stages of due diligence. Real Estate Rookie was written just for this reason. This little book is short, to the point and has served as a critical source of honest, concise, and insightful help.

REAL ESTATE ROOKIE

You may be a person that doesn’t like to have your time wasted. You want the facts, and you want them now. Steve Condurelis has over 40 years of experience in the trenches. Failures and successes had to be met, managed, and overcome. Recruiting, training, mentoring, hiring, and firing have become everyday occurrences for Steve. Over time he witnessed the revolving door of bright-eyed, energetic, and naïve would-be agents finally exit the industry.

Not many people know this fact: 9 out of 10 new agents don’t make it to their second year. This sad statistic is decades old and unrelenting. Only the few survive. You deserve to know this right up-front don’t you think? Is this something you should pursue as a career? How can you tell?

That’s why this book was written. It’s here to help you decide if this business is for you or if another part of real estate may serve you better. Further, should you think you are cut out for success, the rest of the book is here to help you get there.

"I wish this book existed when I first entered this business! Each and every line in it resonated with me. The wisdom within its pages is profound, and I am certain it will help countless others."

About The Author

Steve Condurelis is a Real Estate broker of 40+ years. He has worked in tiny firms of three all the way up to one of the largest national franchise companies in the world. He trained under some of the very best minds in real estate and mentored many agents, some of whom became massively successful and some that decided the industry was just not for them. He has survived, (and thrived) through five separate real estate recessions, interest rates from 16% to 2%, toddlers that threw up in the rear seat of his car, and sellers’ melt downs on Saturday nights at 1 a.m.

Steve has an undergrad degree in marketing and economics, performed as a managing broker and presently is a co-owner in several real estate brokerages in the Nashville, Tennessee market. His sales volume is in the many millions. He has developed raw land, bought and sold many flips, managed rental properties, and loves everything that has to do with residential real estate.

He is most proud of the rock-solid relationships that are the result of representing clients on the purchase and sale of their investment properties as well as their primary and vacation homes. To date, none of his clients have ever lost money on the sale of their properties.

He has been married to Gaye Givan Condurelis for 30+ years. Together they have an adult daughter (Holly), and a sweet old cat named LuLu.

His present goals are to mentor Rookie agents on a limited basis, travel, garden, and fish. He intends to continue to buy and sell real estate investment quality properties for his clients and his family.

"As a practicing and teaching medical doctor of over fifty years, I find "Real Estate Rookie" to mirror many of the identical traits I have struggled to instill in our medical students. Learning how to ask the proper questions of patients (and then dig for even more information), has become a lost art in the field of practical medicine. Other wisdom within the pages of "Real Estate Rookie" transfers directly to any skilled service provider, (including young doctors). Your book should be required reading for any person pursuing a career in real estate."
